Russian Rider Deported After Stunt Videos Disturbed Public Order in Khánh Hòa

A Russian woman has been deported from Vietnam after a court convicted her of disturbing public order over a series of dangerous motorcycle stunts filmed on public roads in Khánh Hòa province.

Provincial police said Monday that they had coordinated with relevant agencies to enforce the deportation of Nikitina Iuliia, born in 1991, last week.

According to Verdict No. 91/2026/HS-ST, issued July 24 by the People's Court of Region 2 – Khánh Hòa, she committed multiple traffic violations in Cam Lâm Commune and Southern Cam Ranh Commune between January and June 2025.

The court found that she repeatedly rode a Yamaha R15 while kneeling on the seat and did not use protective equipment. The stunts were recorded, edited and shared on social media, where the posts attracted large views and shares, caused public concern and affected public order, the verdict said.

She was convicted under Clause 1, Article 318 of the Criminal Code and ordered to pay a VND30 million fine, more than US$1,150, and deported from Vietnam.

On Sept. 15, the Criminal Judgment Enforcement Agency under Khánh Hòa Provincial Police carried out the deportation with support from Cam Ranh International Airport police and other relevant units.

Authorities warn visitors

Officials said the case shows that traffic violations, especially conduct filmed and spread online, can have broader consequences for public order. They also warned foreign nationals visiting Vietnam to comply with local laws, observe traffic safety rules and help maintain public order.
